About Doctor Randall
|

A native of Detroit, Michigan, Doctor Randall took his undergraduate studies at Hope College in Holland, Michigan and graduated in 1984. He was commissioned in the Medical Corps of the United States Navy and studied medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, which is located on the grounds of the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. His internship was done at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia from 1988 to 1989. He subsequently served as the Medical Officer aboard the USS Raleigh stationed in Norfolk, Virginia from 1989 to 1991. The Raleigh served in Operation Desert Storm in the Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf in 1990-1991. Doctor Randall trained in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California from 1991- 1995. His interest was in otolaryngology with an emphasis on facial plastic surgery. After residency training, Doctor Randall was the Chief of Otolaryngology at Naval Hospital Millington, Tennessee from 1995-1997. His final duty station in the Navy was as Chief of Otolaryngology at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, North Carolina 1997-2000. He was a Commander, Medical Corps upon leaving military service. Doctor Randall practiced with a medical group near Charlotte, North Carolina until 2001 and relocated to Springfield for reasons of family. Doctor Randall is an Associate Professor of Surgery for the Uniformed
Services University. He has supervised and taught resident physicians
in otolaryngology for the University of Tennessee in Memphis. He currently
works with the Cox Family Medicine Residency in Springfield. Doctor Randall
is an author of and contributor to textbook chapters. He has written articles
published in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, The Laryngoscope,
Annals of Otolaryngology, Home Study Course of the American Academy of
Otolaryngology, Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, American
Family Physician, and Military Medicine. He has served as a reviewer for
articles submitted to Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and American
Family Physician.
